It's disheartening to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't engage in programs, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a community and support their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is negative to the entire school culture.

This Cap Doesn't Fit

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes things don't work out.

This Isn't My Old School

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my experience there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I made my passions beyond the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The realm doesn't accept that I ooze a different shade. They stare with curiosity as I show the reality of my nature. My blood is a representation of {somethingunique that they can't grasp. They label me as alien, but I am simply special.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call here "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and participating in lame competitions. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
  • One day, I might understand

Just Here for the Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
